 The Ten of Tarts was established in 2021, when my quest for the best butter tart began.   Finding most butter tarts that I purchased missing one key ingredient or another, I decided  to make one that checked every one of my boxes.  And The Ten of Tarts was born!  Since then, I have stayed true to the quality ingredients I used in those first butter tarts!   Pure maple syrup, fresh eggs, creamy butter (in both filling and crust!) and fresh, lively  ingredients to accentuate the wonderful filing!  I have won many awards for my tarts, the most notable one being the Champion at the  Royal Agricultural Fair in 2023 for my Original Plain Maple Butter Tart!  In that competition, I  beat 81 professional bakers.  I have also won for my Maple Pecan, Razz-berry Coconut,  Honey, I got the Blueberry, Magic, Peanut Butter and Milk Chocolate Chip.  I have also won  multiple awards for my pastry and filling on their own.  The Ten of Tarts operates out of a fully licensed and inspected professional kitchen, in our  hometown of Shelburne Ontario.  We do not have a store front, but welcome people to give  us a call and stop by to pick up tarts.  We also participate in the Orangeville Farmers'  Market every Saturday in the summer, and attend many Butter Tart Festivals, Fairs, and  Special Events.  We truly love what we do, and you can taste the love in every morsel.   "Magic in every morsel!" so we say!
